Mrs. Frieda Laskowski, widow of Rudolph Laskowski, died at 3:50 o'clock Wednesday morning at the family residence, 1463 East Leafland avenue. She was forty seven years old last November. Her death was caused by dropsical trouble. She had been ill for several months but was only confined to her bed the last three weeks.
Mrs. Laskowski was born in Fannenberg, Germany Nov 31 [sic], 1868. She came directly to Decatur from the old country twenty five years ago and has lived here ever since. Her husband died nine years ago.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mary Karla, William Laskowski, Rudolph Laskowski, Edward Laskowski, Frieda Laskowski, Emma Laskowski, Fred Laskowski and Clara Laskowski, all of Decatur. Mrs. Laskowski was a member of St. Johannes German Lutheran church and had many friends.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence and at 2:30 at St.Johannes church. The services will be conducted by Rev. William Heyne. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery.
