Funeral services for longtime Nevada County resident Ruby May Snow will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Rev. Andy Owens will officiate. Burial will be in New Elm Ridge Cemetery. She died Sunday at Miners Hospital in Nevada City. Her husband, Walter Vernon Snow, died on December 12, 1959. Survivors include her sons, Dale Junior Snow of San Diego, James Albert Snow of Vallejo, and Ottis Vernon Snow of Grass Valley; her daughter, Dortha May Wages of Palo Alto; her brother, Monroe Cross of Tucson; her sister, Bessie Shelton of Pacheco; nineteen grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
