He was born Sept. 18, 1943 to "Joe" and Leora Hockett Hart.
He married the love of his life, Connie Catherine Knight, Dec. 29, 1985 in Vernal.
Allen grew up in Colorado, he enjoyed football in high school, was a bronco rider in his early years, he was hard working and liked camping. Most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren and farming. He was a brick layer, oil field worker, farmer and rancher. Ranching was his life time dream. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and teaching his grandchildren how to have fun while working on the ranch.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, of Vernal; daughter, Carolyn Searcy; and foster child, Tiffany Manning, both of Vernal; children from his 1st marriage, Royal (Heather) Hart, Colorado Springs, and Corky Johnson, of Louisiana; his mother, Leora Seedig, Florence, Colo.; grandchildren, Scott, Bryce (Roylene), Vernal; and Corey Peterson, Cedar City; Jacob, Krisopher Hart, Mary Elizabeth Hart, Brittany Capell, John Doyle, and Bernita Anna Johnson; great grandchildren, McKayle, Lissi, Talenah, Jhonny, Braden, and Karsen Peterson, and Roylene Hart. His brothers and sisters, Norman (Dawnene) Hart, Jay (Evelyn) Hart, Ernie (Amy) Hart, Della (Buddy) Hollingsworth, Bertha (Glen) Archutilla, and Betty (Richard) Ritter.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Justin Peterson; his father, Joe; brother, Dale Hart and mother-in-law, Adaline Knight
Funeral services Thursday, Sept. 10, at 11a.m. at the Davis 4th Ward chapel, 3990 So. 1500 E. where friends and family may call Thursday morning from 10-10:45 am.
