Julian is the son of Christopher Newell and Harriet Taylor Walker. You cannot read his inscription anymore. Or at least I could not do so earlier this year. His inscription faces the front gate of the cemetery and therefor is the first grave listed. His mother's grave inscription is on the left side. His father's second wife Hannah Jane Barney Crawford Newell is listed on the back side of the stone. This is a four sided stone. There is nothing that we could read at all on the left side of the stone. So if Christopher is buried here, then they did not fill in his inscription.
When I read this stone a few years ago it was pretty well gone. I could not find a date of birth or death. I was lucky to read anything at all. I beleive that he is a twin to his brother John who was born April 26, 1858 just 2 months before their mother Harriet died. Or he could have been born after his parents arrived in USA aboard the ship "The New World" in November 1853. Or after his sister Esther was born in October 1856. Most likely though he was a twin to John.
The transcription for this cemetery is online. They do not have this burial listed.
I am adding a before photo of the inscription and a photo after I highlighted the words on this side of the stone.
This tombstone is about at the top of the hill to the left of the left tree.
