John Guiser Well Known Pierce County Farmer Passes Away
John Guiser, well known Town of Martell, Pierce County, resident, passed away at the River Falls hospital Monday a.m. as the result of a lingering heart ailment. He would have been 70 years of age in September. Mr. Guiser was injured just about a year ago in a mower accident and had been in poor health ever since.
Mr. Guiser, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Guiser, has spent his entire life in this community; he and his brother Frank, being two of the largest land owners and raisers of beef cattle in this section of Wisconsin.
He leaves to mourn his loss, two brothers, William and Frank and three sisters; Mrs. Chas. Wiff, Mrs. Nels Wiff and Mrs. Carrie Hawn.
Funeral services are to be held Friday at 1:00 from the home and 1:30 from the Methodist church, New Centerville, Rev. McCann officiating. E.R. Skari has charge of funeral arrangements.
