Hammond Rose Barzycki, age 94, of Hammond, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004. She is survived by one daughter, Mildred F. Barzycki of Hammond; two sons, Jerry (Judy) of Valparaiso and John M. Barzycki of Hammond; two grandchildren, JoAnn Nugent and Jeff Barzycki; seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Emil and sons, Robert, Erwin and Jim. Funeral services Thursday, May 13, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. from Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, for 10:00 A.M. Mass at St. John Bosco Church, Hammond, with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. At rest, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home. Prayer service at 3:30 P.M. Rose was a long time area resident; member of St. John Bosco Church and Rosary Society, and a former member of St. John Seniors.
