Ann Verwey Lacy, 77, lifelong resident of Jacksonville, passed away September 12, 2009. She was born in New York City on March 19, 1932, daughter of the late Andries Verwey and Anna Maria (Sepp) Verwey. She attended Landon High School and was a member of the Lionettes. A Claims Processor, she worked for many years for State Farm Insurance. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Lacy. Surviving are two children, Robert Lacy and wife, Christine and Joan Popovici both of Jacksonville, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Bert Verwey and John Verwey and wife Janet, several nieces and nephews and dear friends. A Celebration of Ann's Life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in the chapel at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL.
