Miss Knight and Dr. Brown Wed
Miss Blanche Knight, Pauls Valley, home economics teacher in Davis high school the past two years, and Dr. Byron B. Brown, Davis physician, were married in Sherman, Texas, on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
The wedding took place in the First Presbyterian church in Sherman, the pastor Rev. Henry Austin officiating. The bride's sister, Miss Wanda Knight, Pauls Valley, and the groom's mother and cousin, Mrs. A. P. Brown, Davis, and Mrs. S. A. Apple, Oklahoma City, witnessed the ceremony.
Following the ceremony Dr. and Mrs. Brown left for a brief trip, after which they will return to Davis to reside.

BLANCHE KNIGHT BROWN
Funeral services were July 23 for Blanche Knight Brown, 69, of Davis. Rev. William Cooke officiated at the First United Methodist Church. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home, Pauls Valley.
Mrs. Brown was born November 27, 1920 at Antioch and died July 20 at Pauls Valley. A former home economics teacher in Davis high school, she came to Davis in 1942 to practice teach and then returned as a member of the faculty. She was a graduate of Oklahoma College for Women, Chickasha.
She married Dr. Byron B. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Brown was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Her survivors include a brother, James Knight of Tulsa, her stepmother, Lorene Knight, of Pauls Valley, a niece, Deborah Johnson of Idabel; a nephew, Jim Knight of Amarillo, TX; three grand-nephews and a grand-niece.
