Rebecca moved to Idaho as a child with her parents, settling in the Dubois and Spencer areas. After marriage she and her husband, Eric Otto, lived in the same area for twenty years as he was an engineer on the Montana Division of Oregon Short Line Union Pacific Railroad. He started his career in 1890 driving an engine through Beaver Canyon, a historic station of early days and since obliterated from the map. In those days Beaver Canyon was a lively little town and here the first stage line to Yellowstone Park originated. It was owned by Union Pacific Railroad.
In 1911 the family moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where Rebecca lived for forty years and passed away at the age of eighty-seven. She was active in the local women's organizations of the railroad and belonged to the "Old Timers Club".
Her Children:
Clarence, Orville, Orin, Ralph, Blanche, Otto, and Harold
