Mrs. Hazel Pearl Niehaus,DeSoto, formerly of Florissant, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Villa's in DeSoto, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 2 days. Born in Arkansas; she was the daughter of the late Fount and Kathryn (Rutledge) Foushee. Mrs. Niehaus was preceded in death by her husbands: William Fike and Lester Niehaus.

Mrs. Niehaus was a real estate agent for Century 21 and owned a dry cleaning establishment. She liked to socialize, enjoyed canning vegetables, cooking and baking. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Florissant.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura Wilson, Hillsboro and a son, David (Carol) Niehaus of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Holden in Arkansas.

She was also preceded in death four brothers and a sister.
