LYMAN, SC-- Lanese Campbell Jones, 93, of 668 Zimmerman Road, Lyman died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Campbell and the late Fannie Pittman and the widow of Albert Jones. She was the owner and operator of Jones Antiques and was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church where she was a member of the Carrie Simms Sunday School class.
Surviving are a daughter, Gayle Cox of Lyman, a sister Lois Cole of Columbia; three grandchildren including Candace Thomas of Lyman, and five great-grandchildren including Christopher (Buck) Thomas of Lyman.
Services will be held at Little Mountain Baptist Church Monday afternoon, January 14, 2008 at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Ansel Norris and Rev. Josh Phillips. Interment will be at the Little Mountain Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be in the church immediately following the committal service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Mobile Meals Service of Spartanburg County, 419 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
The family is at the home of Gayle Cox, 668 Zimmerman Road.
