Services for Mrs. Ida White, 85, were held at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Sutherland, pastor, officiating. Mrs. White moved with her husband to Jones County in 1909 from Cleburne. The lived on a farm between Stamford and Avoca for many years. She moved into Stamford following her husband's death in 1946.
Survived by five sons - Ruel, William Allen, J.C., Lee and Joe White; one daughter - Mrs. Eula Barber; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
