Visitation is from 12-8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Vigil service and rosary is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Chaney-Reager. Mass of Chris tian Burial is at 10 am. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Mickey Flaska officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.Mrs. Dittler was born on Feb. 25, 1913 to Joseph and
Margaret (Casper) Schadegg in Topeka, Kan. She married Folten Dittler on Dec. 5, 1931 in Sidney, Neb. They lived in Iliff, Sterling and Fort Morgan through the years.
She worked at Trinidad Bean Elevator for many years while the family farmed in Iliff. She later provided private care for the elderly until her retirement in 1978.She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Mrs. Dittler is survived by two sons, Joseph Dittler and wife Mary Ann of Sterling, and Robert Dittler of Denver; two daughters, Mary Ann McBride of Loveland, and Lorraine Smith and husband Bill of Ft.Morgan; two sisters, Margaret Hatch of Sterling, and Josephine Ballenger of New Braunfels, Texas; 17 grand children, 37 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Folten Dittler in 1976; and two daughters, Betty Greiss and Edna Dittler.
