First husband Ezra Green,born in 1836 in New York,he enlisted in the Union Army serving the State of Michigan on Sept 18, 1863 in Jeffersonville, Clark Indiana.
Ezra Green and Mahala nee Leonard were married on March 22, 1859 in Hillsdale county Michigan. To this marriage they had one known daughter ;
LAURA GREEN who was born circa 1867 in Hillsdale county Michigan . Who married
Second husband was Jeduthan Stevens (born 1847 in New York) . They were married on; July 3,1872 in Jefferson, Hillsdale county Michigan. They were living on Jeduthan Stevens family farm, located in Alaiedon, Ingham County Michigan.
Sadly Jeduthan Stevens died of Typhoid fever on October 31, 1883. He left a large probated estate which took years to close.
Third husband was Cortland Walters. Mahala married Cortland Walters on November 10,1888 in Osseo, Hillsdale county Mi. Witnessed by Jerome and Susan Walters ,#342 entry page.
age 72 years and 27 days.death certificate state of Michigan,
Tombstone is located on the side of William Stacy. and her mother Samantha(Moon)Leonard's Stone. They all share the same family plot, next to this monument is the Rose family . Which is William S.Leonards,granddaughter/daughter-in-law thru his only son Willards'first wife marriage to Anna Eliza(Hodges).
