Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, June 25th at the Congregational church for Mrs. Otto Brandt, 53, who died following a lingering illness of cancer, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Friday June 22nd. Burial was made in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Mrs. Brandt was born Edna Willer, June 13, 1903 in Reinbeck, the daugther of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Willer and grew to womanhood in this community attending Reinbeck schools. She was married to Otto Brandt, and the couple have lived their entire married life on farms arund this vacinity.

She is survived by her husband and three sons: Verne, Leonard and Dale; also four sisters: Mrs. Lena Rhoades; Mrs. Vera Larson; Mrs. Alyce Bowman and Mrs. Helen Bowman; two brothers: Emil Willer and Raymond Willer. She was preceded by her parents and one sister.
