She was born May 18, 1922, in May Township in Pillager to Zach and Estella (Brown) Barnett. She married Harold Hardy on Sept. 27, 1941, in Minneapolis. She worked in housekeeping at Kingwood Good Samaritan for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Merrifield.
Survivors include three sons, Gordon Hardy, Delmer Hardy and David Hardy, all of Merrifield; a daughter, Bonnie Stangel, Brainerd; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Barnett, Pillager; and four sisters, Marjorie Berg, Mildred Berg and Meretta Hanson, all of Brainerd, and Phebe Palmer, Pillager.
Her husband and a son, Jerry, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Church of the Nazarene in Brainerd with Pastor Richard Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd.
