Augusta Rosa Apperson, 90, of rural Paxton died yesterday (April 9, 1990) at Heartland Nursin Care Center, Paxton. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul, the Rev. Patrick Henry officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Rantoul. Visitation will be from 2 - 4p.m. and 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday at the memorial chapel. She was born Dec 15, 1920, at Rantoul, a daughter of August and Jane Blue Meuser. She married Andy Apperson Dec 15, 1920, at Rantoul. He died in December 1985. Survivors include three sons, Wilbur, Paxton; Robert, Gibson City; and Wayne, Foosland; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Woller, Urbana; and a brother, John Meuser, Phoenix, AZ. A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Apperson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Osman.
