Grandfather of Heather Nicol Warren & Erik Chandler, children of his daughter Lee; Christopher, Andrew Wayne, Jack & Faith Perry, children of his son Carl.

He was the son of Mose Dee "Moses" Perry & Mary Ellen Marcum. Grandson of Minerva Jane Queen and Arnold Jackson Perry I. Grandson of Tennessee Meade and Jacob Marion Marcum III.

A World War II Veteran. The Battle of the Bulge.
Many medals, including 2 Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star.
