Dennis was born in Ellwood City and lived there all of his life until he enlisted in the Marines.
Arriving in Vietnam 4 March 1969, Dennis was assigned to Service Company, 7th Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division. Dennis died when a hostile artillery round made a direct hit on his bunker.
Survived by his mother, Erma Baker, his brothers; Ronald D, Gary N and sisters; Beverly and Judith Baker, all of Ellwood City, PA.
His father; Ralph F Baker was deceased.
