Marie Hoge, 89, of Varna,IL, died at Proctor Hospital, Peoria, on May 4, 1981.
Born in Magnolia, November 5, 1891, she was a daughter of Nels August Lundholm and Anna Charlotta Nelson. She married Sydney Earl Hoge in Peoria, January 1916. He passed away in 1938.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and one brother, Elmer, of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by one son, four brothers, and one sister.
Services will be held Thursday, May 7, 1981, at First Lutheran Church in Varna, at 2 p.m. Rev. James E. Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Wenona City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Robert Pries Funeral Home, Lacon Wednesday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorials may be made to her church.
