He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty LeBlanc James, Denham Springs; five daughters, Mrs. Patricia Jones, Livingston; Miss Mattie Denona, Miss Gwendolyn Gail James and Miss Desire James, all of Denham Springs, and Mrs. Gladys Parker, West Monroe; two brothers, Frank James, Denham Springs, and Alex James, Doyle; seven sisters, Mrs. Melton Harris, Mrs. Percy Achord, Mrs. Alphonse Dupre, Mrs. Earl Chaney, Mrs. James K. Fox and Miss Zadie James, all of Denham Springs, and Mrs. Harold Melancon, Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
