The funeral of Miss Bessie Burchard, who died in Colorado Springs was held Monday from her residence of her parents on E. Decatur street. Rev.W.J.Davison,pastor of the First Methdist church conducted the services. The interment was in Greenwood cemetery.

MissBessie Burchard died at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Gordon at Colorado Springs, Colo, where she had been visiting. She was the daughter of Mrs. William Burchard and was 15 years old. She left here last May in perfect health. She was stricken with typhoid fever about the first of September, and also suffered from enlargement of the liver. Her mother went there a week ago Friday to attend her, and later sent word that Bessie was better. Friday evening word came that she was dead. The body will arrive here Sunday noon and the funeral will be held from the family residence,849 East Decatur street, Monday. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers. Eddie and Harry Burchard, eight sisters, Katie, Marie, Wilda, Ruth. Louisa, Nellie, Beatrice and Helen and two half-sisters, Mrs George Gordon and Miss Carrie Burchard of Colorado Springs, and a half-brother, Louis Burchard of Denver. She was a half-sister of Charles Burchard, who was killed on the Denver and Rio Grande railroad In Colorado some time ago.
