Pioneer Rancher Dies
Johann Anderson, a rancher of the Black Butte country, died in Deaconess hospital early yesterday morning after having been ill for about 10 days. Mr. Anderson was 40 years of age and was a pioneer of this section, having been located near Black Butte for 23 years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anders Anderson, and his sister, Miss Nellie Anderson, both residing near Black Butte.
The body has been removed to George's chapel in which the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 under the auspices of the Scandinavian Brotherhood of America. Rev A. Lunde will officiate. Interment in Highland Cemetery.
