John B. Fisher was the son of John B. Fisher (1819-1885) also buried in this cemetery and was the husband of Josephine (Aunt Feen) Breimayer Fisher buried next to him. See her Find A Grave memorial. He and his siblings were born and lived in Sharon Twp., Richland Cty., Ohio, until moving to Ionia Cty between 1870 and 1880.

His mother's name was Mary Walser (or Waltzer), born in Baden, Germany, 18 Nov 1836, died 21 Aug 1915. According to her obituary, her husband died about 28 years earlier, which is close to the 1885 death date of the senior John B. Fisher, and they are both buried in this cemetery.

Mary Walser Fisher's obituary also lists sons John B. Fisher of Miriam and Louis Fisher of Grand Rapids, MI (Find A Grave Memorial 104979550), and daughters Mrs. Peter Kopp (Catharine "Carrie" Fisher Kopp also interred in this cemetery with her husband) of Miriam, Mrs. Thomas Welsh of Grand Rapids, MI, and Mrs. Anthony (Magdalena "Lena" Fisher) Martin of Allegan, MI.

Carrie Fisher married Peter Kopp, and her daughter, Mary Magdalene "Mamie" Kopp, married Anthony C. Breimayer in 1899. The original Breimayer family home at 3321 Hawley Hwy, Otisco was sold, but the Kopp family financed the repurchase of the Breimayer farm for Anthony and Mamie a few years. Carrie Fisher Kopp lived with them for a time prior to her death in 1937.
