Naomi A. Dauphinais, a resident of Pierz, passed away Sept. 30, 2009, at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pierz.
Naomi Ann Bell was born Sept. 12, 1961, in Frankfurt, West Germany, to Stuart and Carol (Sporlein) Bell. The family moved to Pierz in 1967, where Naomi attended school. Naomi Bell was united in marriage to Raymond Dauphinais Oct. 5, 1979. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Aaron and Lauren. Naomi was the cornerstone of their family, always a loving and caring mother who held her head high. Naomi was a licensed nurse's assistant at the Pierz Villa where she worked for several years. She enjoyed her work there, always funny, always loving in her tender care of the residents.
Naomi leaves behind her mother Carol Bell of Pierz; her loving husband of 20 years Raymond Dauphinais; her beloved children, Aaron Dauphinais of Pasadena, Calif., and Lauren Dauphinais of Little Falls; sister Alicia Schmelzer of Detroit Lakes; brothers Joseph (Sharon) Bell of Pierz and Ernest (Joyce) Bell of Sauk Rapids; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Stuart; and an infant daughter.
Casketbearers were Toby Egan, John "Ernie" Hamers, Christopher Hamers, Corey Egan, Jason Foster and Matthew Bell.
