Susannah was the daughter of John and Michal Williams Cowart. I have found on line that she was born 14 Feb 1799, but don't have proof of it. She married Israel Causey April 17, 1817 in Jefferson Co. Ga. They had one daughter, Celia Ann Elizabeth Causey. John Cowart's will was probated in Jefferson County Ga. in 1821. In it he lists "Grdau: Tiley Ann Cossey land lying between Amos Folks and John W. Cowart's land on Ogeechee." Although I don't have any proof, I think that this Tiley Ann Cossey is Celia Ann Causey. Celia would have been 3 years old at the time of John's death. Also, because Susannah is not listed in the will, and Celia IS, I'm assuming that Susannah may have died before 1821. I'm even speculating that she may have died giving birth to Celia Ann. But again, this is pure speculation, and I have no proof. Roy A. Causey has been to the Causey family Cemetery, and he says that Susannah is buried there with Ezekiel and Elizabeth Clary Causey. I will add more to this bio as I get it, and please contact me if you have any questions.
