Adam Norman died at his home, 246 Bradford street, at 5 oclock last evening. Mr.Norman was 90 years old and has been in good health up until a short time prior to his death.

He was born in Germany April 5, 1811 and emigrated to this county with his family in 1856. He settled in Louisville,Ky and from there moved his family to this city where he has lived for fifteen years. Mr.Norman has been retired from active business life for over thirty years.

His death was caused by old age. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Julia Norman,six children and one brother. His children are Fred Norman,Mrs.G.W.Scovil,Mrs. John Mcbride,Miss Bertha Norman,Mrs.Eli Bascomb of Louisville,Mrs.E.Lenhard of Louisville and his brother, John Norman of Louisville.He died surrounded by his children and was conscious to the last
