In 1909 showed a Death Record for her in the state of Montana. Cemetery Notes: Abbie lived in Ohio through 1890. However, she is recorded in the Montana Death Index as having died in Montana. She has find-a-grave entries for a grave in both Ohio and Montana. There is a gravestone at the Proctor family plot for her. How did she end up dying in Montana? She had a companion in Ohio in 1900 - (Edith Stiles 62 Companion). Cemetery notes and/or description: (NOTE: There are two Highland Cemetaries in Great Falls, Montana, an Old Highland Cemetery in town and a "New" Highland Cemetery.) In May 2011 over 200 stones in "Old Highland Cemetery were vandalized and pushed over. Many century-old stones were knocked over and broken into many pieces. There is an ongoing investigation. There is also a gravestone Memorial #77307646 in the Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield, Trumbull, Ohio, USA
One possible explanation is that she died in Montana, was buried there however the family wanted her memorialized in Ohio where she was originally from.
