Dora married Henry Clay Jones, Jr. on Feb. 1, 1938 and they remained devoted to each other until his death in Oct. 2001. They were blessed with four children, Tommy Ray Jones (Nell), Brenda Jones McCord, Patricia Jones and Pamela Jones Creque (Pat); six grandchildren, Kelly Jones Harper (Allen), Joy Jones, Robyn Guest Sanders (Pat), Stan Guest (Natasha), Paige Creque and Patrice Creque. They were also blessed to have eight great-grandchildren, Daniel Thomason, David Harper, Austin Agnew, Daniel Guest, Noah Sanders, Dawson sanders, Emily Sanders and Maria Guest. Mildred had nine brothers and sisters, and six preceded her in death - Bell Clough Beason, Ethel Clough Norman, Edgar Clough, Wallace Clough, Arthur Clough and Imogene Clough Shaddix. Fraulene Clough Moon and Bill Clough live in the Gadsden area and Faye Clough Carmicheal (Arthur) lives in Texas. Visitation will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a celebration of life service to follow. The burial will be at Gallant First Baptist Church, where Mildred was a member for the past 42 years. The Rev. Tom Brown will officiate the service with Jerry B Jones as the honorary officiant. Pallbearers will be friends.
