Doyle was born June 26, 1939, in Robeline, La., to Thelma M. and Albert N. Self. He proudly served his country in the Air Force. Doyle retired after 35 years of service with A.D.T. Security Systems. He was a big sports fan and loved the Cowboys, Dallas Stars and especially enjoyed watching all his children's sport events. Doyle loved his family and adored his children.
Doyle was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Roy G. Self of Aurora, Okla., and Albert N. Self of Robeline, La.
