Wolf - Sarah Blaugh (Blough) was born in Somerset Co., Pa., Feb. 27, 1838; and died in Carbondale, Kans. July 8, 1920, aged 82 years, 4 mos., and 11 days. She was united in marriage with David S. Miller of Bedford Co., Pa. on Feb 26, 1857. They afterward moved to Elkhart Co., Ind. and from thence to Montgomery Co., Kans. in 1867 where her companion passed from time to eternity, Aug. 31, 1872 leaving her a widow with nine children (note: in error, there were only seven children). On the 28th of May 1874 she was again united in marriage with John Wolf. They then moved to Carbondale, Osage Co., Kans. in 1880 where she has since lived. Three children were born to this union. A few days before the end when God said It is enough, come up higher, she called for the brethren and was anointed. Funeral by the home brethren at the house, from First Corinthians, 15th chapter. Before she passed away, she chose the 385th hymn to be sung at her funeral.
(taken from The Vindicator (church magainze of the Old German Baptist Brethren), September 1920, posted by Jacob Schuler).

Gravesite Details

Headstone is missing or illegible due to lichen but cemetery records indicate she is buried in this location, probably very near the memorials for her daughters Mary Jane Miller and Sarah Ann Miles.
