Born on March 14, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Stephen and Edith Marr.


She married Charles E. Burley, now deceased. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, lived in Holladay, Utah and worked in advertising for 50 years. She was actively involved in the Golden Club at St. Vincent's Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was Committee Chairwoman of the AARP.


Survived by daughters, Gayle (Robert) Hollingsworth and Sharon (Joseph) Solsky; grandchildren, Stephen and Jennifer Solsky, Stewart Solsky, Amber Hollingsworth, Adam Hollingsworth, and Amanda Hollingsworth.


A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 in St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1385 East Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
