Survivors include his widow, Mildred; a daughter, Sue; a son, Lowell; a sister, Mrs. Grace Douglas of Le Claire; and three brother, Vernon Benge of Wichita, Kansas, Tom of Davenport, and Howard of Woodward.
His aunt, Mrs. Charlie Baird and a large number of cousins live in the Floris vicinity.
