Lance E. Lippencott, 78, a longtime resident of Waynesburg and recently lived at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs Charles (Betty L.) Tennant of Belle Vernon, died at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 1963 at Monongahela Memorial Hospital, Monongahela. Born August 14, 1884 at Franklin Township, a son of Elisha and Margaret Zook Lippencott, preceded in death by his wife, Edna Crayne Lippencott in May 1956. Survived by a daughter, Mrs Joseph (Irene M.) Nutt of Orlando FL; a granddaughter, Mrs Charles (Betty) Tennant of Belle Vernon; two great-grandchildren, Mrs. Helen Book of Spears and Charles R. Tennant Jr. of Belle Vernon; a sister, Mrs Harry (Nettie) Crayne of Waynesburg RD; three brothers, Guy (Ruth) and Thomas of Waynesburg and Benny of Washington.
