Graveside rites for Myron Wayne Ambers, 55, of Casper, Wyo., formerly of the Maddock & Heimdal areas, was held Tues. at 2 p.m. at the Viking Lutheran Cemetery in block 3 plot 81, rural Maddock. He died Aug. 19, 1993 in Casper, Wyo.

Rev. Lori & Rev. Brad Keyser-Boswell officiated. Military rites were accorded by the Theo. A. Togstad American Legion Post 123 of Maddock. The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock was in charge of arrangements.

Mryon W. Ambers was born Nov. 8, 1937 at Maddock to Arnold & Alice Wigan Ambers. He attended the Lynne rural school south of Maddock & later farmed with his father near Heimdal. He served in the Navy & worked as a miner in Oregon, Idaho & New Mexico. Later he worked on dairy farms & in sawmills. He moved to Casper in 1991 because of ill health.

Survivors include a brother, Sidney of Fessenden; & 4 sisters, Mrs. Thorston (Marion) Swenson & Ardis Ambers of Devils Lake, Mrs. Dean (Fern) Saabe of Casper & Annette Martel of Sharon.
