Mrs.Mary Elizabeth Freed, wife of John L. Freed,died at their home, Lumber City, near Reedsville, Saturday evening,6:30 o`clock, aged 76 years and 5 months.The cause of her death was heart trouble and she was confined to her bed eight weeks, just prior to her passing..
Mrs Freed is survived by her husband, John L. Freed and by the following five sons and two daughters; William H. Freed,Thompsontown, Walter and Solomon Freed of Lumber City,Orville M. Freed, Altoona, Joseph Freed of Naginey, Mrs. John{Jennie} Bohn, of Old Fort and Mrs. Roy {Rebecca} Esher of Shamokin..
These three brothers and two sisters also survive the deceased, William Johnson, of Milroy, John Johnson, of Honey Creek, Henry Johnson, West Liberty, Ohio, Mrs. Rebecca Hoar and Mrs. Harry Peters of Milroy..
Mrs Freed was a member of the Evangelical Church of Havice Valley. Brief services will be conducted from her late residence, Lumber City, Wednesday afternoon, 9:30 o`clock.The principal service will be in the Milroy Methodist Church, Wednesday afternoon 10:00 o`clock. The Burial will be made in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy, Pa.
