George C. Battle
George C. Battle, 62, of 913 N. Ainsworth Ave., died yesterday in a local hospital. He was born in Morganton, N.C., and lived in the Tacoma area 34 years.
He was a beekeeper and a logger. Mr. Battle was also a member of the Nisqually Rock Club.
Besides his wife, Virginia, survivors include his mother, Mrs. Julia C. Battle, of Auburn; a sister, Mrs. George Riddell, of Chase, B.C.; and three brothers, John and Howard, both of Tacoma, and Richard, of Eatonville.
Services are announced today by Dryer Mortuary.
