Shellie White Stewart 87, passed away in an Asheville hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Erbanie Pierson White, sister America Belle White Ridley and husband Charlie Ray Stewart. Mrs. Stewart retired from Broadway Hosiery and was a member of Brown's View United Methodist Church in Candler, NC.
She is survived by daughters Martha Stewart and Edith Warren of Candler, NC and Margaret Trull of Clyde, NC, one son Roy Stewart of Thomasville, GA and one brother, Henry White of Cashiers, NC as well as 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
