Mrs. Nora Gamble, 83, of Compton's Nursing Home. formerly of 119 Fremont Ave., died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday in the nursing home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Mingo Junction, 0., Feb. 13, 1892, the daughter of John and Mary Jane Settles, and was the widow of Lithgow Gamble. Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Keeler, Springfield; one brother, William Settles, Hinton, W.Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Vandine and Mrs. Bertha Riddle, both of Steubenville, and Mrs. Angie Anson, Clarksville, Ind.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her body was taken to the Littleton Funeral Home
