Elva V. Buffington,of RD3, Punxsutawney, died Saturday,
Feb. 15, 2003, at Lane Avenue Personal Care Home,in Punxsutawney.
She was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Coolspring, the daughter of the late Jessie A. & Olive R. Hoffman Keller.
She was married to the late John W. Buffington.
She was a member of the Punxsutawney Congregation of Jehovah`s Witnesses.
Mrs. Buffington is survived by four sons:
Clifford M. Buffington of Punxsutawney,
Edward Buffington of Ford City,
Ronald Buffington of Kittanning
and James Buffington of Mars;
13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;
also two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents & husband, Mrs. Buffington was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Horoschuck;
also one son, John Buffington.
Interment will be held at McClure Cemetery, Big Run. The Pifer Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, is in charge of the arrangements.
