Tessie I. Smith, 80, a guest at the Pennsylvania Memorial Home, formerly of 361 East Main St. died Wednesday at the Brookville Hospital.
She was born on August 29, 1911, in Coolspring,the daughter of the late Mont Keller & Olive Huffman Keller.
She was married to Robert W. Smith.
He preceded her in death in 1956.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters:
Mrs. Bill (Barbara) Green
and Mrs. Emett Rhodes, both of Brookville,
Mrs. Art (Mona) Hughes of Meadville,
Mrs. Clarence (Elaine) Felton of Springboro
and Mrs. Armon (Caroline) Spano of Erie;
a son Richard W. Smith, of Brookville;
a sister, Elvie Buffington of Punxsutawney;
11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
