Martha Wyona Berringer, 84, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at St. Andrew's Village.
Daughter of Amos and Goldie Young Westover, she was born May 13, 1919, in Cherry Tree, Indiana County. Mrs. Berringer lived most of her life in Indiana County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Survived by one son, William A. and wife, Loraine, White Plains, Md.; three daughters: Karen Gleditsch and husband, Herbert, Indiana; Mary Whitfield and husband, Russ, Josephine and Sandra Mester and husband, Dan, Virginia Beach, Va.;
Also grandchildren Bryan and Bob Berringer, Russ and Jackie Whitfield, Kathy Gleditsch and Tony and Aubrey Mester; great-grandchildren Eric, Matthew and Diane Berringer; sisters Roberta Henry, Cherry Tree and Beulah Hicks, Ebensburg; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Calvary Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James D. Patten and Dr. Elizabeth B. Rogers officiating.
Interment was in Uniontown Cemetery, Green Township, Indiana County.
Robinson-Lytle, Indiana was in charge of the arrangements.
