A. J. "Bones" Franks, 71, of Hayti, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Dyersburg, Tenn.
Born Sept. 15, 1930, in Savannah, Tenn., he was the son of the late Hubert and Etta Burks Franks.
Survivors include two brothers, Herman and Sammy Joe Franks, both of Hayti and two sisters, Jean Stegall, of Kennett and Emma Lee Buckley, of Tulelake, Calif.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Junior Franks.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti with John Mark Wilson officiating.
