Alice (Suta) Cooper passed into the night on Oct 3rd, 2009. She was born April 23rd, 1920 to John & Irene Suta who immigrated to the U.S. from Hungary/Romania. Alice graduated from St. Charles School of Nursing in 1941, and worked as a registered nurse for many years in the Aurora and Fox Valley area. She married Edwin H. Cooper in 1944, and is survived by her two loving children, Nanjean (William) Tessendorf of Sykesville, MD. and Larry Cooper of Aurora, as well as one granddaughter, Amy A. Tessendorf of Boston, MA. and one brother, Joseph (Mary) Suta of Alamo, CA. She was predeceased by her parents, her two sisters, Sylvia(Gale) Murphy and Nanjean (George) Hugh, as well as three brothers, Nicholas (Yvonne) Suta, John Suta, and Leo (Theresa) Suta. Special thanks for assisting Alice on her journey home belong to Dr. Paul Chaing, Dr. Harnack, Judy (VNA Fox Valley), Donna Hermes R.N., and Kathy Nelson, as well as her small group of friends and her children. A memorial service for Alice will be held at 11AM on Saturday October 31, 2009, at St. George By Zantine Catholic Church, 720 Rural St., Aurora. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Alice's name may be made to St. George's Church at the same address. Interment will be private at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora.
