WILLIAM DIETRICH
William F. Dietrich, 79, of St. Nazianz, died Saturday morning at home.Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Christianson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer, S.D.S., will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Thompson-Burkhart Post No. 28 of Valders.

Mr. Dietrich was born Aug. 22, 1891, in the Town of Cato, son of the late Joseph and Louise Hoyer Dietrich. He worked in the hardware and sheetmetal business in St. Nazianz from 1915 to 1937.

He married Minnie Gutman Sept. 1, 1919, at St. Nazianz. He was also in the tavern business until his retirement in 1959. Mr. Dietrich was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Gregory Church, the Catholic Knights and a charter member of the American Legion Thompson-Burkhart Post No. 28 of Valders.


Survivors include his wife, three sons, Norbert and Walter of Kiel and Harold of Brillion; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Mildred) Berkey of Kewaunee and Mrs. Michael (Jean) Russnek and Mrs. James (Loretta) Sacharski of Chicago; a brother, John of St. Nazianz; 27 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon where a Prayer service will be held at 8 o'clock followed by a Rosary.
