Mrs. Charles Rathsack, 82, of 1035 A. S. 11th St., Manitowoc, president of the
W. Rathsack and Sons Co. Hardware Store, Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdy at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred
Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Rathsack was born Minnie Dietrich on Nov. 21, 1884, in the Town of Cato,
daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Hoyer Dietrich. She was married to
Charles Rathsack in June of 1918 in Waukegan, Ill.
Mrs. Rathsack was a member of the Manitowoc-Two Rivers Altrusa Club and the St.
Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society of St. Boniface Church.
Surviving are four brothers, John and William, of St. Nazianz, Edward, of
Rosencrans and Arthur F. Dietrich, of Rt. 2, Reedsville, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died Nov. 1, 1945, a daughter,
Miss Anna Louise, and two sisters.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m. by members of the St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society
and friends.
