monia.

POMEROY, April 7 - Mrs. Ellen Scott, 81, widow of Alexander Scott, an old soldier, died at Old Kyger Thursday after an illness of a week from pneumonia. She was a twin sister of Ellis Rife of Cheshire and a half-sister of William Rife of Kyger.

The last three deaths in this family have occurred just a few days before Easter, with burials on Easter day. About 25 years ago a son, Leroy, was buried on Easter, and just two years ago on Easter, Mr. Scott was buried, and now the funeral of Mrs. Scott will be held at Old Kyger church, where all the services have been conducted.
