Mrs. Laura Roush

CHESHIRE - Mrs. Laura Ann Roush, 91, died Sunday at 12:45 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Mack, Cheshire.

Mrs. Roush was born in Cheshire Twp., where she spent her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen Rife Scott. She married Horton A. Roush, July 3, 1893, who died June 26, 1950. She was a member of the Old Kyger Freewill Baptist Church and the Golden Sunday Class of the Church and the Wayside Garden Club.

Surviving are two sons, Everett, Pendleton, Ore., and Hortie, Cheshire; three daughters, Mrs. Mack, Mrs. Merrill (Eunice) Bunce and Mrs. Ura (Mildred) Swisher, both of Cheshire, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Chester J. Lemley, Rutland. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Funeral Home. The body will be in state one hour before the service at the church.
