Calanthe F. Branstetter age 87 of Hardyville passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday October 14, 2009 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital E.R. She was a native of West Virginia and had taught Home Economics & Special Education for over 30 years in both the Barren and Hart County School Systems, She was also a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II ,a member of both the Hardyville and Thirteen Homemakers Clubs for many years and a member of Cosby United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Shelby & Veva Finley Francis, Her Husband Joe Branstetter, Two Brothers Jay & John Francis & One Niece Shelby Davis.

Three Sons: Dr. Mike Branstetter & his wife Christy of Shelbyville, Ky.
