Charlene Mills Benton, 64, of Carbon Hill died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Medical Center East in Birmingham. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2000, in the Pocahontas Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Hall, Patricia Beck, Debra Vickery and Lisa Clements; one son, David Benton; three sisters, Betty Wright, Nellie Mills and Carolyn Wells; four brothers, Paul Mills, Oliver Mills, Albert Mills and Robert Mills; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
